Last month, A + B brought friends and family together in NW Washington for a “chinoiserie chic” wedding celebration. The day started with a first look at the DC War Memorial, followed by an al fresco ceremony and reception at the Westin Hotel in Georgetown.
A’s petite bouquet was the perfect accent piece to her sophisticated gown with beautiful bow detail.
A+B met in DC, but lived in California for a number of years, so they knew they wanted to have an iconic DC landmark as the backdrop for their first look, and the DC War Memorial was the perfect location.
Blue and white ceramics and a variety of white flowers lent an air of chinoiserie chic to their dinner.
Once the dancing started, the only pause was for the couple to cut their Fluffy Thoughts cake and thank their friends and family for their attendance, and to quickly re-start the party!
